As the premier rural schools association, the Arizona Rural Schools Association uses its expert voice to advocate for rural schools in Arizona, improve outcomes for all rural school students, and celebrate excellence in rural schools.
Designed especially for those ARSA educator members that are new to advocacy or those that want to brush up on their skills, this workshop aims to provide participants with the fundamental tools and knowledge to become effective champions for the rural causes they hold dear. The workshop is open to the first 35 registrants, and a waitlist will be opened for further registrations, both on a "first come - first served" basis. You must be an employee of an ARSA Member District or a Member of the Borderlands Rural Teacher Caucus to attend. Please contact Melissa Sadorf to verify current membership status.

What is included?
All participants will receive a $250 scholarship to help cover the cost of travel (hotel, transportation). Meals at the workshop will include breakfast, lunch and a snack.
